Still in the drive...
Taken a few short trips around the state. Florida Flywheelers and then Wauchula airport to do volunteer missions work. Nice to get it out a little! Other than that I get to go out and watch movies in the 'ol Bird parked in the drive!

With my bird underground for the winter I'm about to go through withdrawls. I need a fix bad. When it is above ground during the summer and we don't have a trip planned we take it out on a 100 mile icecream run, about once a month and I will run it for an hour or two during the week. Once I even went to school to pick up the grandkids, that was a mistake because all the other kids wanted to get on our bus. They did get a kick out of Zip A Dee Do Da but the school crossing guard couldn't take a joke.

My Grandson is a bit older and knows it all at 16. Not easily impressed but the 99 song plus On the Road Again did the trick. He was also mortified by Happy Birthday as he walked across a local business parking lot with his buddies. Love those Horns.

Woody had the "Brain Box" for sale not long ago. Think they were new from Ft Valley Auction. The control is available from PMMI and the Speakers come from Radio Shack. Put it all together and bother everyone.

When we stop at a rest stop (sometimes a small park), wife will often take a "good walk" ... sometimes a little longer than she intended. I always warn her that I'll play a tune to get her attention, if I'm ready to leave and she's not back at the bus.
Funny, when I play "California Here I Come" or "On The Road Again" I see others smiling, but my wife will be running across the field to get me to turn it off.... (If she'd just walk 'normally' no body would know that the tune was for her benefit...) <grin>
