Default Cables and Connectors

Having finished the interior and looking for another project I decided to organize the storage bays. I have at least ten cables used to plug into shore power, and all manor of "gizmo's" to hook one to the other. My coach has a spot to hook a 50 amp cable and two spots to plug in 30 amp leads. In my camping experience all my other toys had just one 30 amp female plug. Seems like I have way more "stuff" then enough here. If I carry one 50 cable and the two 30 amp cables what do I need all this other stuff for? If I am boon docking I'll be on the generator and if at a camp ground I would use the 50 amp cable if available. There is one box like device which has two leads coming out of it. That might be a way to plug two 30 amp cables into the 50 amp plug? Any advantage to doing that over just using the two 30 connections? I haven't looked at the cables real closely maybe some are just there to lengthen others. All manor of dog bones and other bits. What do you fellows carry with you?

Bring it all to Myrtle Beach and Maxton. Might make a good seminar.

Cool! I'll bring it all down. There are 7 cables not 10. Three are obviously the two 30 amp cables and one is the 50 the others 4 ? well we'll figure that out and then there is a box of other "STUFF" which we can pick over. Might be good for 15 or 20 minutes of show and tell. I'll do the show, Rob can do the tell.

Good idea. If my wife's dog has an accident , on the way down I'll have her up for auction and if the wife objects then we might make a package deal. Don't tell her I said any such thing, I am just talkin big. If anyone goes it wouldn't be the dog. The little stinker knows she's boss too.
