Thanks Jim - you're exactly right about that. We consider ourselves really fortunate to have been able to own both of Ron's buses.

You got the one that everyone wishes to find; the one that never gets listed as there are people already waiting in line to buy it. Nicely done. Enjoy it. You just don't see very many in that condition.

not welded ... when you look at the photo below your immediate reaction is ... oh c**p! ... is it suppose to do that?

Has 3 lights on dash (locked, unlocked, reversed). Unlocks under 15 MPH. It could just be my imagination but it certainly feels like it turns a little sharper than my 95 WB42. Another owner of a steer-tag bird says it also improves toad tracking around corners too. Interested to see if that's true ... haven't towed with it yet.

Another rare upgrade - factory installed Girard. I think the classic old style awning is a bit more robust given you can put tie-downs on it. But for those of us that didn't put the big awning out much - when we did - it felt like a scene from Benny Hill.. So the push-button convenience of the Girard is nice.

So how are the steerable tags constructed? Is it a spindle with king pins on the end of a solid axle? Or are they independent? Just curious as how they did it..

Even more rare is the Awning LED lighting Ron installed - https://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.c...ad.php?t=30139. We use ours all the time. In windy conditions when we really need the awning, I sometimes use a couple long adjustable straps to keep it from sailing up and over the coach. However, we NEVER depend on the automatic retraction wind birdie or motion sensor to save the day.

Ron’s posts about his engineering masterpieces have been missed . Am certain you got an amazing coach! Congrats on your wise purchase, again
