Default Which Air Bag Brand?

I am starting to air bag shop and am finding a variety of brands that have part numbers that cross over to established brands such as Firestone. I realize there is no telling where things are made anymore or their quality, but are there brands to avoid or look for?

I have no idea which brands are better,if they are better.
But i turned Sean Dixon on to a shop in Ocala Fl that sells air bags, and Sean says they had very good prices.
Call K&K in Ocala, talk to Mark or Rodney, tell them i sent you.

Thanks for the info Randy. Paul Brown also told me about that same place yesterday afternoon, I plan to call them today so I can buy local if possible.

A lot of us have been getting ours from Airspring.com. They have good deals and sometime offer free shipping. I've ordered twice from them the last time I ordered from them I had my bags in about 3 days. I got the Firestone bags, and I did notice they did not seem to be as stout as the original bags, they appeared to be constructed with slightly thinner material. However I have had them on the bird for 2 years now and have had no issues. Give them a call, I may be mistaken but I think someone got a Bluebird discount program setup with them.

My OEM's were Goodyear and my new ones are Firestone. So far so good!

I am starting to sweat the air bags on my behemoth (28 years old). I kinda don't want to have it in the shop awaiting delivery of (maybe the right size) airbags.

How many different part numbers are there amongst the (8) bags?

Since companies swap part numbers all the time I am nervous about ordering ones that appeared some time ago. Does anyone know if the rubber part detaches from the metal plates (top and bottom). I kinda doubt anything bad happens to the heavy metal, but how they build these things beats me. So far they still hold air. I'd love to have a spare of each type.
Any suggestions?

Default AIR BAG TOP, BOTTOM AND RUBBER

From what I have read so far, the part number on the rubber may not be
the same as the "assembly" part number and that the steel top and bottom may have their own numbers. The part number for the bags from the old BB manuals may not cross. I really don't want to get stuck w/o at least one spare of each type til I can afford to replace the "whole family" of em.
