Thanks for sharing that... it really was a great tribute to John. For those of you who never knew him, here's a pic that Kelly took at Twin Oaks with his "pride and joy" back in the day-

Default Thanks Ed

Your story filled in so many details of stories he told on himself. We enjoyed many good times with John. Donna was able to cater to him at dinners and he loved it. He mentioned many times that she would feed him first before anyone else! We really miss him.

As a survivor of a couple serious motor cycle crash's in my youth, was always ragging on John to get off that death machine. Stubborn old guy, did it his way for sure.
Thanks for the history Ed, greatly appreciated.

Very nice. Having a younger brother about the same number of years apart, I can only hope he sees me as well as a Johns younger brother saw him. Dumb near could bring a tear to your eye. John was one of the first to
introduce himself to me at my first rally in Frankenmuth Mi. He took the time to show my son (who was 5 at the time) his race car. Defiantly going to be missed.

Geraldine and I miss Johns visits when he was checking his mail with friend here at Mount Olive Shores North. Geraldine always had Red Velvet cake for John even though he said he shouldn't eat it. He ALWAYS ENJOYED IT. and we enjoyed his company .
