Morey I have never seen my air dump when I activated the HWH but that doesn't mean anything because it may have happened and I didn't notice. Except for a few times when I've forgotten, I've always followed the procedure of dumping the air using the dash switch and then turning on the HWH system. My Aux compressor does run for a long time but does shut off. Maybe you have a biig leak in aux system.
