Default 450 LXU Low current connectors

What started out to be a little issue with the Living room light escalated into a total coach power outage.
I was going into the coach to look for some items and upon my exit from the coach, I was unable to turn the living room light off by the same switch i.e. (the switch next to the coach master by the door). I had to go back into the living room and turn the light off.
I started wondering what was wrong. I talked to Richard Ducci. He said he thought the system needed rebooting. I rebooted the system twice with no luck. By then we were both stumped by what was going on, the whole coach power went completely off. I ended up calling Allen Barbee. Allen and I went through several tests, including rebooting, but finally he told me to remove and disconnect the switch and check for any sign of corrosion. None was found. When I reconnected the switch, everything powered up and the issues went away as fast as the onset. Both Allen and I believe, with low current connectors such as what is installed on the M450LXi, can get fouled by a lack of use and or the presence of moisture on the contact pins.
I am hoping this write up will help 450 LXI owners.

Hish,

Glad it was that easy and this is good info to know. While all of the other Intellitec switch panels could cause a minor inconvenience if they went out, the one with the "Coach Master" switch could cause a major PITA as you found out! I am looking forward to an Intellitec seminar at RATS next year if they can be there.

I'm trying to hook the Intellitec seminar up. I will keep on that for us.
