Default FC / Kubota Powertech Transplant Version 2.0

While I'm getting some things fixed and updated on my 'Bird, Bruce and Laura Campbell are also here at Randy's to have a different version of the Kubota Powertech generator transplant performed on their FC by the world renowned 'Bird Surgeon Dr. Randy Dupree.

Due to the fact that on their FC the configuration of the generator compartment is significantly narrower than on my FC

The layout of the transplant is a little different than mine being the the radiator and blower and engine and generator are on opposite sides to mine, keeping with the spirit that no two 'Bird are built alike. Seen below Dr. Randy takes a break in his operating room at Bainbridge General 'Bird Hospital with his most recent patient that still has a few items left to add on before finalizing the transplant.

We took the generator out of a 94WB and put it in a 83FC.
Gennie,with radiator and down draft squirrel cage fan.
My part is almost done,bruce is doing his own wiring and i did the fab work.
All I have left to do is the gennie door,which will be new and the exhaust system,also new.

Which phase does the shoe run on?

I guess the Campbell's got their head gasket issue resolved?

This one is going to be a snug fit for sure;

Yep, it looks like Bruce will have to trim away some of the insulation to get enough clearance for the fan motor and on the other side the fuel shutoff solenoid will need to be modified a little, but it will go in there.....................eventually
