Pat, how long was that 90 degree elbow, 6 inches on each side? It seems like it needs to go down a bit after the muffler, so did you rotate it a little bit to compensate for the downward angle too?

JF,
I think what i did was just cut the standard 90 at the center of the radius. Rotated it into the offset, it was greater than a 4" offset so I set it on the weld table with the ends parallel and estimated how much I needed to remove to get the 4" I think I snuck up on it with a couple cuts. Looks like in the picture the tails are unequal so I bet I took it all off one side.
I believe after I had the offset I just held it in place and rotated it down a little till it met the tail pipe. I think I had to cut a couple inches off the tail pipe too.

I went with a 5" Magnaflow straight thru muffler with 4" pipe thru the whole system. My goal was to reduce EGTs which worked well. Also picked up some power. The pipe is much shorter now and doesn't do a U turn. Dumps straight out the side behind the rear tire and doesn't throw exhaust residue on the back of the coach anymore.

Not again because I never have. Have no idea how to do it. It hasn't changed on the exterior anyway.
