Default Finn's Inn gets more modifications and updates

Today Ryan Saari started the process of adding his old compartment to my 'Bird, by first removing a section of the bottom rub rail.

The new compartment that Ryan removed from his 'Bird for a larger one is seen here while he uses the old cutout as a template for the hole to be cut in my 'Bird.

Ryan came out with this saw that he said would be used for the initial cut, but HOMEY don't play with that saw

Now the sparks start to fly as he starts the first cut

After making the two vertical side cuts a corner hole was drilled to start the horizontal top cut.

He used a variety of saws to make all of the cuts.

The BIG HOLE has been cut and now you can see the bottom of the Auxiliary Pump for the chassis heaters which will be moved and the grey water drain from the sink, which will require that the top of the compartment will get notched to clear this, the leveling jacks however will not be a problem at all.

Ryann checks out the fit of the compartment door and all measurements are good. It was at this point that Ryan asked me how much money I would be willing to pay to finish the job

More to follow tomorrow.

John,

You may want to replace that spring on that kick-down, and rebuild the jack while you have easy access...
