Default Penasco 2019

Communicating with the Reef RV Park yesterday, 2.16, to reserve 10 days 1.28.2019 to 2.07.2019, 15 Beach sites and 6 Ocean View, they want $10,600.00 paid in full within 7 days of my receiving their quote. Check/Envelope must be postmarked within two days from date of quote, delivered to Reef Park within 5 days (total of 7 days) or they will cancel the quote. I thanked them for their time.

I do not dispute what you were told but this is what Gus said was the rates for next season. We also only had to pay $100.00 down for our 10 days and $160.00 additional when we arrived. I know there were many people that booked sites with no down that never showed up (not our group) so maybe they are wanting more down. Gus , the go to guy in charge said the rates for 2018 and 2019 were the same rates established and posted when we all were down there in 2017. We talked to a few folks in deluxe beechfront sites that said they would not be back because of the new rates.
Our site was definately not as good as last year but for 50 amp with water and sewer at $26.00 a night I am not complaining.
Something does not add up.
These are the rates on the 2019 pricing we were quoted:
BEECHFRONT DELUXE $50.00 a day
BEECHFRONT $40.00 a day
OCEAN VIEW $35.00 a day
Back Regular $26.00 a day This is what we had. We were second row from the
beach. We could see the beach kinda..
30 DAY BOOKINGS : 10% DISCOUNT
IF this price we were told is correct then 10 Beechfront Deluxe sites would be $5,000.00 total.

What you posted are the rates per site that I was quoted. The Reef quote is for 15 Beachfront sites and 6 Ocean View for 10 days. I believe the GROUP is why they want the full payment within 7 days.

Default Peñasco 2019

Puerto Peñasco 2019
Our reservation for ten days is in at The Reef RV Park, arriving Sunday, Jan 27, 2019 and departing Wednesday, February 6, 2019. We have beachfront in A.

Make your Reef RV Park reservations here http://www.thereefrvpark.com/. Click on RESERVATIONS.

Depart Quartzsite, AZ Sunday, 27th, drive approximately 275 miles, arriving at The Reef RV Park by midafternoon. From Quartzsite head east on I-10, south on AZ-85 to Lukeville, AZ. Cross the border at Lukeville and continue on to Rocky Point.

Crossing the border: No firearms, no bullets. Have with you a copy of valid vehicle titles, registrations, driver’s license, passports, pet vaccinations.

Get your Mexican Vehicle Insurance prior to crossing the border. I'm insuring the coach for one day in and one day out. And the Jeep every day. US insurance is not valid in Mexico. I’ve used Lewis & Lewis https://www.mexicanautoinsurance.com/. The Reef recommends http://www.mexicoinsurance.mx/.

RV electric extension cord and extra water hose. Beachfront sites, if you pull in, the power pedestals (elec. & water) are located at the beach end of the sites. Back in is no problem.

I will keep a list of who is joining in and keep everyone posted, if you like.

We'll see most of you before this trip and if not hope to see you at Rocky Point, MX.

Betty & Curt

I am sending deposit today! I can understand why they want "full payment up front" if they have had lots of no-shows. Seems excessive, esp. If they don't take credit carsa where there is at least some recourse.

But, my wife reminded me we only go around once and there is enuf history with these guys to take the risk. She also said she IS PLANNING TO TAKE IT WITH HER.

We are still wanting to but need to see how the Oregon house sale goes first. I will buy you a Margarita or 3 if we make it. Will I remember? I don't know
