Default RIP John

Only met him in person at Shipshewana in 2017 and plenty of times on the WOG.

The buses are great but the people are even better, and John was one of the best. This is a painful reminder of how much this WOG family can mean to each of us. Thanks Randy for your kind way with words to share this difficult news.

Default RIP

First met John at Maxton, but get to know him at Wilmington at the Ohio Mile. On Friday a few years back we were the first two Bluebirds there and he sat in my bus for about three hours trading racing stories and lies. He was a great man. RIP

It is with a heavy heart that I had to hear of my friend of many many years, has passed away!!! He was like a brother to me, we would chat on Ernie and Bruce's old forum and tell me how and the why's I should get a BB, I was going to build an Eagle coach as a motor home... He and Randy, along with Rob Robinson they would give me all the info I would need to get a BB... I was at the second RATS rally where I met with him and Randy, for the first time... Where we had a great time looking and talking birds!!! Where I had gotten to be nicknamed 'TentBoy'!!! Followed him and others to Maxton, BatB, and numerous other rallys...
Barbara had yelled out a few minutes ago "John Finn died"!!! I heard her and could not believe what I was hearing!!! I am so so saddened by this news and am sorry I am on the west coast at the moment, wish I was near there to see my friend!!!
The same thing happened when KC passed... What a Shock!!!
John May You Rest in Peace, I'm going to miss you very much my dear friend...

I am still in a bit of shock. I don't think any of us were ready to let him go just yet.

Pine Mountain just won't be the same this year.

Rest in peace dear friend.

Someone please give extra love to both Bud the Beagle and Cali, they have lost their whole world, while we have lost a good friend.

GG,Bud and Callie the cat are staying with Johns tenant, they are in complete shock and really don't know what to do next.
But,they are watching the kids.

John made me promise a year or so ago to take Bud,if something happened.
I crossed my fingers and held my hand behind my back and told him i would!
Well,i was kidding about the crossed fingers.
Not long ago John told me his nephew would take Bud,and i agreed to that.
So,the fur kids are ok.

John had a good sense of humor,we dogged him all the time about his high speed shakes,he just laughed.

The first time John came to my florida house we went out to eat mex food, and he said he needed something at walmart.
So we pulled into walmart and i took control of the buggy (florida for shopping cart)

So Johns picking up a few things and meanwhile i'm loading the buggy with condoms, hair curlers, shampoo and all kinds of other stuff.
WE get to the checkout girl and i unload all that stuff onto the counter.
THe girls looking at old man Finn, and then looking down at a couple of huge boxes of condoms! Like what the heck is this old man doing with all that??
John says "what the heck is all that stuff"
I'm howling,man it was funny!!
