Zip Dee Awning Tool Use

I always wondered what that end was for Aprox 7 24 . Any body know this coach ?

And if you do not want to mess with that tool , there is this

call Zip-Dee direct and tell them you want the NX Upgrade kit, tell them what kind of coach and they will send you all the stuff you need, Rafters are specific for each coach. I think it was $250 maybe can't remember, It's so easy to put up and take down after you install. it comes with new upper rafters and a bunch of other parts.

Hey AL,
I have that tool, it came with the bus... I got tired of tht setup and put in the NX upgrade on the BMC, I still use the tool to pull the pins when out of reach... I showed Gardner that tool and he went out and bought one...
I also showed him the NX and he may do that too... I also put these on; The Slide Bar, too...

with installing it at WOG PM rally as a seminar opportunity?

Installed this upgrade a few years ago and needed to tap the front mount holes due to all the steel as screws would not work.
Very easy to do and works well.

I bought these several years ago I think I sold them to Jim W. One or our moderators.
I hope they worked out for him
I could not install them my awning is too far forwards and the only place to mount the base plate is through the fiberglass cap, they would not work for me.

I don't understand this - my arms already hook up this way?

Kurt, I'm not a moderator, unless by osmosis counts having been moderated. Anyway, they worked just fine for me. I ended up using some anchors similar to rivnuts to attach them with, because like you, there was only the fiberglass cap there, but man is it thick in that area. I'm guessing it was close to an inch thick. Anyway, so far so good after about 4 years.

Well I would say your PO must have installed it then Andy . I would like this also so I don't either scratch the paint or need to use a ladder every time to insert them . In fact most times I do not even connect the arms, and if they call for winds I just put the awning up .
