Same as Andy but will keep painted aluminum to match the rest of the roof . Also a big fan of Dicor Lap Tape. Before installing refer, placing 2” insulation board in the ceiling depression made sense. Sealed it up with aluminum tape. Pro installer might not have gone to that level with out-of-sight parts of project. If you later go solar, mounting exterior “combiner & transition” outlet box and drilling access hole through the new roof plate makes things simple. Box has grommets to seal cable entries. Open area behind refer also good for dropping cables to bay below.
