Girard Awnings Intermitten Issue...
Greetings to all...
I have just recently purchased a 2006 450 Lxi... The coach is in excellent condition except for an intermittent issue with the Girard Awnings... The previous owner stated that on occasion they will not got in... After fiddling with them they eventually will retract... I would assume it is a switch issue but am not familiar with how they work... If anyone has any insight on this issue I would appreciate it... I can look up the electrical schematics but electrical troubleshooting is not my strong suit... To be clear we have not yet brought the coach home but will in November... Many thanks for your help...

There is adjustments for extension and retraction on each awning. If they get out of adjustment can cause the issue. Very easy to fix. Also if using the remote low battery in the remote will cause the awnings stay put. I believe that the drawing is in the forum files. I would check the adjustments fires. The awnings are 115 v so work off shore power generator or inverters

Is a known issue with Girard power awnings. Possible fixes discussed in this M380 thread:
