Default Battery Tray rollers

Any idea where I can purchase new battery tray rollers? I have a few that have seized up and do not want to break free. I'm in the process of pulling the battery trays out, having them acid dipped and powder coated. I figure might as well just replace all the rollers while I'm at it.
I could also use a new pin. One of the had the hook/handle broken off. Any idea on this as well?
This is for a '91 WB.
Thx

In a pinch they can be disassembled cleaned greased and reinstalled. I've done it to mine.

Mike ,
im not sure if powder coat is the way to go.
It will not stand up to the grit that gets in between the batterys and the tray. You might conceder having someone spray bed liner on the tray.
I did mine 7 years ago and it still looks great.
We sand blasted it, applyed a sealer then sprayed raptor bedliner on it.
Anyway its just a thought.

Michael

For the rollers check McMaster Carr or Graingers. Look up cam followers
you should be able to find something that will work. Some even have zert fittings so they can be lubed.

Michael,
I bought a new pin back in March from McMaster-Carr. It is an exact replacement.
Part #90302A215 L-Handle Push-button quick release pin 5/16" diameter, 4" usable length, all for the low price of $25.24 + shipping etc. If that is not the correct size, they have others.

I like this idea. If it's working for you this long I think it may be the way to go. I'll do it. Thank you.

I had the trays powder coated here in Dallas at Focus Powder Coating. Turns out Mike, the owner, drives a '91 WLWB like mine. Small world! Anyway, he did a great job. I then coated the inside of the trays with bedliner.

I found replacement bearings, nuts, bolts and spacers to build new rollers for the trays. Mike pointed me in the right direction for local shops in Dallas.

I order the replacement push-button pin from McMaster-Carr.

I was able to do all of this for less than $250. and it looks great!

Thank you for everybody's advice.
