Tell Us Where You're At As you travel around the country, why not take the time to tell our members where you have settled for the night, week, or month. There may be another member close by, that would like to meet you, so put that information right here.

I'm resigned to the fact that there will always be a low number of members on the maps because of the requirement that locations be regularly updated. Neal's map, which is permanent unless you tell him to move you, will wind up with a much higher participation.

For the reason why, just look at Woody's location on the two maps. On mine his in North Little Rock, AR. On Neal's he is in El Paso, TX. Of course now that I've pointed it out he might get moved!

Don: I was getting notes to up-date the map but have not seen them for some time now. Neal: I was on the map when Curt had it but now I see I am not on it. You can add me or let me know how to get put on.

I realized that while I've tried to put in my location, it has never quite taken. I believe the map program itself gives a fairly accurate positioning. When I log into my GPS, the numbers are almost identical.

At one time my GPS gave me a negative number and, I believe, that might be where my locator has put me - somewhere in Mongolia.

I'm logged in, and can see some of the coaches around me but I can't seem to get mine on the map.

Stick, your location is shown as 84 degrees east, which is in Western China. Negative longitudes are considered West in common usage, but my programs all expect positive numbers and you select either W or E.

Reminders are sent only once, 24 hours before your listing expires, so if you happen to miss one you won't get more reminders.

I wondered where all those Chinamen came from. I've fixed it and am showing as smack in the middle of Americus, GA.

Alan, how about adding your BBmaps link to your signature so we know where you are at?

If everyone did that it would be nice.
