Default Samsung fridge install

I finally got my fridge all installed. Everything went fairly smooth no big surprises. The worst part was removing the old one the covering on the sides started to peal off and made it very hard to slide out of the opening.

I covered the hole in the roof for the old vent before putting the new fridge in place. My dad and I own a machine shop so I used 1/8" aluminium and cut out the cover plate for the top side. On the inside I cut out a basically a window frame then cut that in half so it was two piece for installation. I pus clearance holes for 1/4" bolts in both parts. From the top I put a bead of silicone placed the plate then used a 1/4" drill to drill out the holes that held the old vent (32 of them). Then used 1/4" fine thread stainless button head screw with a plastic washer then a lock washer and nut from the bottom. I still plan to use some kind of sealant around the outside.

Above the fridge my dad came up with the idea of the bracket with the two pins. The pins go down into two of holes in the top of the fridge then get screwed into the sides on the ends. The bracket also has two tabs on the front that we put holes in so we could screw the stainless plate that we cut out on the waterjet. I need to cut a thicker one looks good for the picture.

Default Amana Fridge replacement

Hello everyone I have searched the threads for 2 days I did see one about replacing a Amana side by side fridge (110 volt only). I never book marked it though. I found some from 2009 but those models are not available now.We want to change our fridge as it has been acting up for some time. I have gone crazy I swear trying to find a fridge that measures that will fit in there. I know guys in here have done this could you tell me what fridge make and model you bought?
also ours is a corner fridge here is a pic if I can attach it

Most of us have switched to the Samsung RF18. It seems to be the most efficient and least power hungry. It required very little alteration on my bus, but I don't have a side aisle as you do. Google Samsung RF18 and check the specs on dimensions to make sure it fits. I removed a lower drawer and upper cabinet but side to side and front to back was a perfect fit. Others have done the same.

Thank you isp2952 for your reply.
I looked at that one what is interesting is it is NOT Energy Star rated. It power consumption is rated at 594 kWh. It is also about 2" too tall which is not a big deal as we never use the cabinet above the fridge anyways. Also it is 33" wide and my opening is 36". Has anyone tried this fridge LG 36" LFC21776D it is 20.9 cubic ft (which is no deal breaker) but it fits better according to the specs, 35 3/4" wide by 68 3/8" tall x 27 1/2" deep which seems to be a perfect fit. It is Energy Star rated and is rated at 414 kWh which I think could be more power efficient and less power hungry? I am not disagreeing just asking questions. I am a newbie to our Bird (I love it though) before it was called a cooler and ice..lol
It was the only one I could find that would seem to fit in the opening the best.
