Default Alternator won't come online

I went to winterize the coach this morning as I guess we're done for the year. I started the engine to air it up and didn't immediately rev it up as usual to get the alternator to kick in. I started playing with the leveling jacks just to tweak the way it was sitting and noticed the volt meter was showing lower than 12 volts. I revved the engine to get the alternator to kick in, but nothing. I shut everything down thinking the battery voltage might be too low to excite the alternator field. After a few minutes I checked the battery voltage at the battery terminals and they read 12.56 volts. I tried it again and it still wouldn't kick in. I then tightened the battery terminal and ground terminal on the back of the alternator and still no juice. I replaced the alternator several years ago so I'm hoping it didn't bite the dust. Any suggestions as to what else I can do or where to look.

Some of these have a remote voltage sensor wire from B+ to the alternator. Does yours?

I only see one wire going to the battery side of the alternator. I'm going to go try it again if the battery voltage is up above 13 volts. If it doesn't work I'm going to hook up my start/charger that puts out 225 amps and see if that might excite it.

It should be a smaller wire on a separate terminal.

I bought the alternator off of eBay and low and behold instead of 2 wire hookup there are 4 posts on the back. I'm attaching pictures of both in hopes someone can tell me if I need to hookup the other 2 lugs, and if so where?

That looks like a problem. The four wires are ground, battery, ignition and regulator. I doubt you have a regulator now. Best course? Contact the seller and see if he will take it back then buy the alternator you need.
