I just got back from a very nice trip to the California coast. Back home now to 105-109 degrees temperatures.
![]() I took the coach out today to fill it up with fuel and noticed the outside, drivers side, rear view upper mirror is loose. That is the flat mirror. In fact, the only thing holding it on to the coach is the heated mirror wiring. The mirror is fine but the original rubber double sided tape that held it on to the power adjustable head has failed. So what it the current wisdom on how to reattach/glue the mirror back on the adjusting head? Or should I contact the manufacturer? Who made this mirror and are they still in business to contact? I think I read Ramco at one time on the BMCs. (Their website is still active) Thanks for any and all help.

Had the same problem on my 91 WB.(Has the Bird on them) Called the company, think it was Ramco and they were helpful. Can ship to them and they will fix, or the guy told me what to use and fix myself, of course I did not write anything down, but I would call.

Normally they silicon the glass in place and use the 2 sided tape too.
You can just silicone it back in place and use some tape to hold it until the silicone drys.

Just had the bird at a Detroit shop, and one of the things done was to replace the curb side lower mirror lens. Must have fallen off & cracked at some point as the PO had it zip tied into place. Shop was just about to order a whole replacement mirror as they couldn't locate the lens itself. Said MCI bus company didn't have the lens. I asked why they tried there - they said that I probably didn't know it but although the bus is branded Blue Bird, it was really an MCI. I said "uh, huh" and gave them the Ramco website info.

![]() I think I will call Ramco as it seems they made the mirrors. I will see if they have some insight to share. Silicone in place seems to be the consensus.

I contacted Ramco. It seems a temporary repair was already done once as they siliconed the mirror directly to the mirror adjustment motor. I decided to buy the Ramco mirror snap ring mount that is designed to mount the mirror to the motor. That should make a better surface remount the mirror to the motor. I will know more when I get the parts.
However, their shipping rates are crazy!!! More for shipping than the parts.
