Sounds like I am glad we are coming across US 2. No traffic and great views in the small towns. We stopped at the Cabot Cheese Factory yesterday for FREE samples and are headed up the Mt Washington Auto Road today.
A buddy that is from Maine said we need to hit Red's Seafood in Wiscasset (Not far from BB)

be ready for a wait at reds . grocery items our go to place is Dumolias Market basket routes 111 and 95 Biddeford exit also a cabells their .
Beech ridge speedway just off exit 42 at Scarboro has free RV parking lots of space they run 3 series of cars and have the wheelin modifides tonight the mods put on a great show they are lite fast open wheel cars on a short flat track 207 332 3648 call if anyone needs info or help

We got here yesterday and a bunch of people are already here
 ...some early and it's causing quite a mess at the front desk.  Apparently computers haven't made it to Maine yet so everything is hand worked. They put us in an already occupied spot and then into another soon to be occupied spot  ..OK were in a spot but have to move to our scheduled spot when the folks that are in it now move to their scheduled spot after those move out.......It's a nice campground and a beautiful area, what i've seen so far. Here's a handy Boothbay tip....apparently you can't get a pizza after 5 o'clock on a Saturday night! Matter of fact it appears they roll up the sidewalks around 5 around here. No wonder these folks live so long!

Sunday we had a happy hour in the later afternoon then headed to town for dinner. Today after breakfast we headed to the botanical gardens. Lunch in town then lobster dinner at night in the pavilion. Nobody going hungry!

Boiled lobster, clam chowder, plus all the fix'ens, salads,desserts Thanks to everyone involved with tonights meal. It was a well coordinated effort with a bunch of folks to provide us with a great meal! Someone has got to post some pixs. What a great time in Maine!
