Oops I did it again!

Well my engine swap is taking forever on my 78FC35 so I bought another bus! I bought an 83FC35 owned by Frank Rooney up in Prescott. I'll use this this bus until I fix my old springer, then one of them is going up for sell.

The wife is leaning towards the 83FC35 because the bathroom isn't "yellow"

I'm leaning towards the 78FC35 springer because.. well, it doesn't lean!

But seriously, we got tired of missing rally's so don't expect us to show up in a trailer next rally!

You know Shawn, I do need to downsize big time! I'm only 2 years out from retirement and I'm still buying toys when I should be downsizing!

This is what I currently have on .17 acres;
- 3 dirt bikes
- 1 Goldwing
- 2 sand rails
- 1 CJ5 jeep
- 1 24' trailer
- 2 quads
- 1 F150 4x4
- 1 Kia Sportage
- 1 Subaru
- 2 35' busses (one is going to a storage lot)

I NEED more acres and a bigger checkbook!

I feel your pain. We have a full lot garage and trailer here also. But my insurance man loves us

We have a 44' boat, a 40, boat and a 19' boat in addition to multiple small boats and 6 kayaks.
At least the Bird and the cars and trucks won't sink on us.

Well the newness has already worn off.

On the way to the emissions the bus died in the middle of traffic. A quick call to a friend and we towed her out of the way to a side street. Went through the filters, nothing. Checked the fuel solenoid and it seemed pretty hot. Put a meter to it and found it was shorted. Ran home and stole one from a spare engine. The bus still wouldn't start and found no power from the ignition to the solenoid. So I jumped the solenoid with the alternator power and she started right up.

Now the fun begins, anyone know where there's a fuse or circuit breaker on that line that feeds the fuel solenoid on a 83FC? From the documents library it looks like I should of bought an 84FC. This weekend the troubleshooting begins;

- how to drain/winterize?
- how to fill fresh water tank?
- why can't I see my generator unless I have air pressure
- why I have two 30a plugs?
- where are all the Sporlan valves located?
- why the low air pressure buzzer won't shut off
- why won't my musical horn work? (that's the biggest issue)

Man I'm missing my old 78 Springer bus already!
I guess after '78 Wanderlodge abandon the KISS principle?

You know that little trailer has never left me stranded!

- yea, now gotta deal with Sporlan valves
- It was from Prescott so need to UN-winterize it. I have docs so will hit the books. Looks like you switch valves, turn knobs under sinks to close drain, open toilet, etc.. didn't look too straight forward to me.

There's a 100% chance if we keep this bus it'll have to be "Putzie-ized"
