Yes Bill they seem to be top notch people. Met them a few weeks ago at their facility and just talked to them again on Thursday at the FMCA rally in Brooksville, Fl. They are very eager to do things right the first time

Nothing gets by you guys.... I was wondering if you all would pick up on that?
Seriously, take a closer look and you will see that is an index finger. I was up at Coach Worx again last week and met Frank Debore the body shop guy. He has been painting coaches for over 20 years. They have a nice set up there. There is brand new paint booth, and a sophisticated German paint system (STANDOX). It uses a scanner that takes three readings off the existing paint and outputs a formula for a color match. I just put a few more photos up above including a work in progress and a recently repaired 94 Prevost Marathon that was pretty badly damaged by rock damage (vandals). Eight of the stainless panels had to be removed and new ones installed and riveted on before paint. To me, this is outstanding work. Frank also has a penchant for classic cars and motorcycles and he welcomes this work too. NH Bill

While on our way to Epcot in Orlando, we stopped over and spent two days at Coachworx in Clearwater, FL to have some maintenance work done on the coach. They serviced the air brake system, air suspension system, the transmission and chassis and repaired the spotlight. In addition, they replaced the malfunctioning non adjustable air pressure regulator on the tag axle with an adjustable regulator. This new adjustable tag air pressure regulator allows the coach weight to be spread properly over the drive and tag axles. As usual the regulator was not located where BB normally puts it. After a lot of searching and digging in the foam insulation, Rick found it and replaced it on the frame just above the tag axle. The reason why the regulator was not in the normal place is because my coach has the HWH momentary air raise and lower function which circumvents the air brake switch and allows the coach to be moved while raised or lowered. This caused the air lines to run in a different direction than on coaches without it.
Mike, Rick, Dave and Ben did a great job on my coach and I highly recommend Coachworx as a great place to get your BB serviced or repaired. They are all very knowledgeable, hospitable and customer oriented. The charge for their service was extremely fair. Also, they provided us with a full hookup space to spend overnight there. |

Rick called me and asked what I knew about the regulators location,I called Rob to see if he had a printout, and I also called a few other guys.
Rick called me back saying he had found the problem the next morning..' Sometimes you have to sleep on it!

Randy, thank you for your help.. Some service guys would have given up after searching for a half day, but not Rick. He must have had an epiphany overnite because he found it first thing in the morning and had the coach weighed and ready to go by 11 am.
