Default David Brady & BH Tubes

Thanks to David Brady and all the leg work and design stuff and BH Tubes who made what David conjured up.

After a couple of false starts, have had installed the stainless steel exhaust parts that BH Tubes makes up for 97-03 birds.

Other than needing a little squeeze to better fit into the mounting bracket on the engine, the U exhaust fit perfect (squeeze required due to slight growth of radius when welding together).

I had those parts installed yesterday and couldn't be happier (although a bit poorer). I will not worry about another exhaust blowout or potential fire from the blowout again. The SS will not rust and should last the coaches lifetime.

Now I have to decide if I want to replace my shot muffler with a straight pipe or the whiz bang muffler David has found. My concern is not having a SS muffler as well. The one I have now lasted 5 years and is now rusted to the point of also requiring replacement.

Thanks again David for all the work you put into this project.

Hi Paul,

That's great news. I'm thrilled that it worked out. Roger and his brother at BHTUBES are great guys with exacting fabrication skills. They definitely went the extra mile to get these pipes to fit properly. A big thanks to them!

Last I heard, BHTUBES is also working on stainless steel OEM replacement pipes for the Pre-1997 Series 60 equipped Wide Bodies. Stay tuned.

NFI.
