I've stayed at the 14 day free areas previously. There are several businesses in Quartzsite that have facilities for the public to dump and fill.

https://www.google.com/search?q=quar...hrome&ie=UTF-8

Rose's RV park has 4 dump stations so there is less waiting than for the 2 at the LTVA.

Four days a week the Quartzsite trash transfer station is open where the public can drop off bags of trash for free.

The one thing I'm wondering about is the company and companionship, which is why I want to attend the WOG rally at Q. So unless there is an organized relocation I will brave the possibility of a BLM ticket to hang out with the WOG family.

Carig, the Q rally is a BoF rally, it is not a WOG rally.

Let me just say that as a newb it took me a long time to figure out what the factions are/were. Who is doing what and who is invited, how do you join the group, and so on. Just an FYI.

We, (Rick Archie, Fred Hulse, John Mace, Curt Sprenger) run the Birds of a Feather (BoF) site, rallies, etc. If your contact information is in my database you are automatically in the BoF Group, invited to attend our events, etc. We have your information. It's that simple. Randy Dupree (thank you Randy) allows the BoF boys to post on the WOG site in the Takin' it Easy section. The BoF events are posted there.

Default Shooting Event

Maybe this should not be posted here on WOG. I see lots of *******. I'll leave that up to the moderators.

The potential work around will Not work for the Imperial Dam LTVA, sorry. We drove over there to check and the office was closed and the camp host said they did not have permits.

I asked what others were doing, host said drive in and buy permits when the shutdown ends.

We drove down to Q today and all is well. The garbage was emptied, people were filling water and dumping. The office was closed and the only sign was " Limited Services" during shut down. There were more rigs than ever and even some in the circle that look to be there for the duration. That was the only problem we saw. STOP FRETTIN AND START DRIVIN!! " Q" IS ALIVE AND WELL!
