Lookin' forward to following your expert driving ability to "Dripping Springs" again! My back is requiring a different mode of transportation to try and keep up. I can't wait!

Just spoke to the Chamber of Commerce. All camping is open . Water and dumps are operating at t
La Pods south as of now. Park rangers are not giving tickets to people who do not have passes. People may go in, park and pay when the kiosk opens.

It was an absolutely beautiful day at Quartzsite today! It felt like summer. I believe there will be a LOT of red bodies in the "Magic Circle" tomorrow.( That is the clothes optional area). I drove by today and immediately went to the tents and bought an iron so they can iron the wrinkles out of their red clothes!

Default Q bound!

On the way down to Q; Springfield, MO, filled up with diesel at $2.29! Last night stayed at Rockwell RV park in Oklahoma City, real nice place, indoor hot tub, sauna & pool, $40 but well worth it! Tonight, Blazin Saddles in Tukumcari, basic, but FHU sites for $14 with passport america, hard to beat! We're takin it easy, DW doesn't like to travel more than about 300 miles per day, gives us time to stop at any interesting place that takes our fancy! Tomorrow will be Gallup, NM, then Saturday wherever we can find so long as we're firmly planted in front of a TV to watch the Chiefs play-off game!Plan on arriving at Q sometime Sunday!

Well ginger and I made the long trip NORTH to Quartzite. And I pushed it all the way without a single stop. Yep folks that’s right the whole two hours of driving without stopping for lunch or a nap or anything.
I’m learning how to do this long distance driving from those of you who drive across the country in a day and a half. Al.

Now it’s nap time.
