Posting and Pictures with an Android and other Smart Phone and devices

I have noticed a lot of flipped pictures posted here on WOG lately, here is a tip posted by Bill Anthony that may be the solution:

Short version: An Iphone records which side of picture is "up" to EXIF tags that Windows (& others) aren't reading. So when pic leaves Iphone, it can flip.
Easiest way to prevent...always take Iphone pics with the volume buttons facing down (or the indented "home" button on the right).

Here is what I do when I post from my Samsung Note 10+ (prev. J3, Galaxy 7 edge). It should be the same when using any Android phones or tablet. First I go to the album gallery where the photo is stored. Next I edit the photo (small pencil icon). It will appear in the right format. I either rotate 90 degrees or use the flip horizontal (<l>) icon. It will appear in the wrong format but that is ok. Save the picture. Then go back and correct the picture so it is right side up. Save again. When I am in WOG and attach the photo to the post just make sure you choose the latest saved picture. It is a work around for WOG running this version of Vbulletin. I hope this helps.
