I didn't find any posts on this but here is my question. I have 1989 PT40 WB. I am upgrading the vanity sink faucet and it comes of course with the 3/8" female water supply connectors. The previous faucet had what appears to be the female 1/2" copper flared connector. I am hoping to find a male to male adapter for this so I can just use the original copper supply lines. Has anyone done this and can you point me to the part online?

Scott, I'll be really interested in following your projects. I am picking up our 1988 WLWB PT40 (rescue bus on Gino's Garage) in a few weeks. I've learned that the plumbing in this coach will require repairs.
Hoping to get it livable for our yearly trips down to see family in Grove, OK

I saw that bus on Youtube on Gino's channel the order day. It was the black and silver one right? We are going to have ours painted black and silver hopefully in a few months. It is currently a blue and silver color. My wife and I are having a lot of fun with the renovations we are doing. Having to address a few of the plumbing things that are common as well.

I believe...it's been awhile...that I cut the copper and used a shark bite with new line to the faucet

I think our FC has a T cut into the 1/2" copper supply lines that have a 3/8" branch. I remember seeing something like that while chasing the strange motor sound under the kitchen sink the other day. I'll try to get out to the bus verify and to get a picture.

I used a 3/8" flare to 3/8" female pipe adapter, and then a 3/8" male pipe to 3/8" compression adapter-then a standard 3/8" x 1/2" female pipe hose to the faucet. Would have been nice to find a single adapter, but no luck.

Tom,
You were correct, I had mistakenly thought that was a 1/2" flare, but it was 3/8" flare. I got two parts to make it work. Lowes had them. 3/8" male flare with a 1/2" female pipe thread. 2nd part was 1/2" male pipe thread to 3/8" male compression. Put them together and it works great. Will post a couple of pictures next. Thanks! Scott

Yes, we got a piece of granite cut and drilled. Will be installing a vessel style since and putting up some backsplash tile too.
