I am in the housing business and appliances of any side are difficult at these times. I just purchased my PT40 and the mechanic that serviced it demoed it to me as my Uncle passed away a year ago. He said that teh fridge and couch go out through the Passengers windshield area.

I replaced my Dometic NDR1292 New Dimensions (odd dimensions) refrigerator with 12vdc Nova Kool RFU7300's. No switching or inverter concerns and Nova Kool refrigerators are designed to be in a vehicle on the road.

Hi Terry & Cynthia,

If I could, I’d like to get my hands on the shelves, trays, and wire inserts from your unwanted Dometic. Please let me know when you’re ready to part with them. Thanks for your consideration.

the GE 19 went right in the front entry door for me. Of course remove everything off the fridge first, doors, hinges, etc. Then remove (on the bus) the door striker, passenger seat, etc to get maximum width and a few guys and we carried her right in.
I have a curved sofa style seating in the dinette so we had to lift the fridge over that just before sliding into the hole. When it was past the dining room seat and in front of the hole it blocked the entire hallway so I was stuck in the back until that thing went in. Believe me, i had measured about 20-30 times to make sure by then

This was our refrigerator change . It lasted almost 5 years . We installed a new Whirlpool refrigerator just a little bigger before selling the coach .

In my coach, the frig went out and in through the front door with no furniture or door removal. The new one is a Magic Chef, 10.1 cu.ft. Of course, we had two young strong guys doing the lifting, then Ernie worked his magic.

Trent some how I had missed your question. I do have the shelves. I also have 1 good handle and 1 new if you or someone else is looking.

Was wonder if those who have installed an inverter have done for 12volt power source. Been looking at the Magnum 1 or 2 thousand or xantrex pro watt 2000.

Thanks everyone for all your input.

Little update, 800 or so miles and 5 days on the road, we love the GE19 fridge. Runs flawlessly or course and lots of room. I am running off the original plug with the OEM stock inverter. Didn’t have time to install the new dedicated one but I did run the wire to the back of the fridge before fixing the box in place so that’s done.
I’d definitely recommend the GE
