The latest set of lights arrived. They may work, but I've not checked them in the bus, nor put power to them to see how bright they are. They have a clear plastic cover, so I've ordered some 'frosted glass' clear vinyl sheet to cover those covers to hide the individual LED diods on the circuit board, since these lights will be visible when you walk into the bathroom.

Please take pics with frosted glass with lights on and off and link when finished. I still need to replace my clear prism.

thanks

I'll try to do that, but alas, the lights I got are still too dim for me. So, I guess I'll ping Orville for his tombstones and try the T5 LED bulb route. I'm amassing a big ol' pile of LED stuff with this bus project!!

Sadly, the vinyl I got appears, to me, to be too translucent to do what I wanted to do, that is, hide the individual lights on the strip inside the housing. I don't think it will work well.

So I'll throw that onto the growing pile of failed attempts.

Hard to tell from these pics from the previous bus. I cut strips from a Home Depot Lithonia 2X4 frosted diffuser. I haven't found just the diffuser yet.

Wish I had known you needed these last year. I had a box full of tombstones from all the old florescent ballists I took out of every single interior light when I switched to LED tape in every fixture. I took them to the PM rally last year and I believe they eventually got throw out. I can look again for you and see if they survived the cut.

Please do. I guess I can also check our cabin lights to see if they're still there. They were converted to strip light LEDs by a PO. I do need to update those, as the existing lights are too dim for my tired old eyes. But if the tombstones are there, that's a win. Thank you for mentioning it, and thank you for double-checking.

Thanks, Shahin. I've seen several LED replacement tubes, but the tombstones on one of the lights in our bathroom are broken. I need a couple of tombstones to mount those tubes.
