Smile Looking for a mid '80s or later coach

Hello all! I'm in search of a Wanderlodge to call my own. I really like the interior and exterior styling of the '80s and newer models, personally. I'm on the west coast but willing to travel for the right coach and my budget is $40k.

If you want to part with your coach or know someone who does, please let me know.

Thanks!

Welcome to the WOG. It is good to see another west cost address. I am not parting with my bird but if you are in the San Francisco bay area and want to see a mid 80's PT I would be happy to show you my bus. It is good you are willing to travel as most birds are located east, I had to go to Texas for mine. The upside is there is nothing like an immediate rod trip to get to know your bird. Good luck with your search.

Hey thanks! Funny you mention Texas, I'm talking to a guy out there about his XXV for sale. It has pretty low miles but has sat for a while, twice. And one of those times it was on blocks and lived in. So hard to tell what condition a coach is in even from good photos. Sure wish he was closer. I also wish you could smell a picture for mold... lol

I just posted in the "buyers" forum about a 94 WB that I went and looked at. I'm very tempted and it's only a hour and a half away. Very convenient.

morganaire ,a member here has a very nice and very updated 91 SP with lots of extras like solar and new interior. They had it at Quartzsite on display. It is a mid entry and they live in Payson Arizona. Their price is close to your $

Not sure if this is still for sale, it's my old bus, worth a look.

Hi Rusty,
Did you land on something? I'm in North San Diego County.

My PT-36 will be for the sale in the coming months. We have a trip mid-April, but will be listing after.

It is setup for dry camping. Solar keeps (550W) the batteries topped off daily. Has large pure sine inverter, new Crown batteries, new steer tires in late 2017.

I've done lots of maintenance and upgrades including light bamboo floors throughout, new dash top (bamboo to match) and new vinyl on the dash. We also re-upholstered the couches and dinette. Still, it has a vintage feel, but with some modernization and updated electronics. Most of the lights have been converted to LED.

We mostly camp up and down the California coast and it sees maybe a month of service each year. My kids are young and in school (6 and 10), so we only get so much time.

You can email me through the board and I'll provide my contact info.

It is kept under a large garage port in Oceanside.
Thank you,

Doug
