Tell Us Where You're At As you travel around the country, why not take the time to tell our members where you have settled for the night, week, or month. There may be another member close by, that would like to meet you, so put that information right here.

All good things must come to an end
Might want to go to CharlottesVILLE to see Monticello.
Those Virginians are kinda funny about that those thigs. I should know, I've been married to a Charlottesville native for 30 years.

We left the Charlottesville area and headed North. Took Rt. 85 to 29. Stopped in Danville Va. Sam's for the night and then headed for Greenbelt NP in Md.
All went well till we hit Rt 66. 3 accidents held up traffic forever and we wound up on the DC beltway after dark. Traffic was heavy as usual, but somehow we got through unscathed and pulled into Greenbelt NP campground and hit the sack. 7.2 hours on the road, way too much for me. As you near DC the Walmarts, etc. stop allowing overnight parking, so you need to push on to your destination.

I discovered my high beams were useless, could be a bulb or something else. I will check it out today in between rain showers Now to convince Autozone not to try looking up the headlight by year/make/model

Your "I-95 corridor" stories make me happy I'm a bitter clinger way out west in ID. An occasional two light change hold up @ the left turn light on 19th street is about it.

next stop home. We are at a Park&Ride/RV place in Philadelphia, Pa. Basically pavement camping with 50 amp/ water and a dump station, $60/night including Toad, but it is safe and near where we are doing research, so what can I say. Temps may get to freezing so maybe Ice instead of water
