Default Temp sending unit Powertech/Kubota - also AC Voltage - 92 WB40

Turns out that which broke off is indeed the gauge sending unit and not the shut-off switch. Can anyone suggest a source? Single post for ring terminal, regular Teleflex white/yellow gauge inside? Photo of broken sending unit below.

Solenoid is not getting power and I need to go into the box and check the relays as a first step, good conversation with Jeff Jones at Powertech.

In the short time I had the generator running (stop lever rigged) I was seeing less than optimal AC voltage on the gauges - I will say I did not unplug from land power as I did not intend to run that long, but I thought that the automatic switch prioritized the generator.

I was poking around and bought two from Defender marine since the one on the SP is also inop but not broken, they had a minimum order...

https://www.defender.com/product3.js...099&id=1856141

this is for the WB that just arrived and I'm doing the sort out on... thank you.

Both legs are showing but not quite 100V, wondering if the transfer switch is confused. Will have to try it unplugged from shore power. PO was using the generator on the trip down so I assume it was OK, have queried him.

I just went to O'Reilly Auto Parts and got a temp sender that fit and was 900 ohms. I think it was $12. The gauge works and appears to be the correct temp comparing to my laser temp gauge.

The sending unit specified by Defender read about 2x the correct temp if not more so that will go back.

Ordered from Custom Instrument Panels 2x SND52320-014 in 1/8 NPT as that's less clunky than going down to 1/4 NPT from 3/8. I need one for my SP36 as well...
