So excited to be attending our first rally. Hoping to learn about more about the '83FC we purchased at auction.

You might check on prices after the BATB rally, i think we get in just under the wire.

Default Birds at the Beach 2019

Came across some items in my shop last week that will be at the flea market at the beach. Karen has some things she made and hopefully everyone will bring a lot more. There will be WOG gear on sale also.

Call Ocean Lakes as soon as possible and make your reservations, 877-510-1413 and remember to tell them "Birds at the Beach". If you are planning on coming early and staying after the rally you will have a better chance of the same site being open for the extra days if you reserve early. We will be in the same area, HH section, but again all sites are not available so another reason the call early.

Is anyone interested in golfing ??? There is a discount at a great course close to the campground, just need a volunteer to head this up if enough are interested.

I will be getting a vendor list of approved detail guys that work in the campground so we won't have any dirty birds. I'll post that here as soon as I get it from Ocean Lakes.

For those that have not been to Ocean Lakes before there is plenty to do and services are available right there from propane delivery to your site, repairs, awning guys and just about everything else.

The campground has a store, laundry, hamburger, pizza and ice cream joint as well as a gift shop. Golf cart rentals are also available and as a rally I believer we get a discount.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the beach.

Chris, We have gone for several years, but won't be going this year unfortunately, but we have never had a cart and got along just fine. You are located close to everything that you need. The beach, the water park, the laundry, the ice cream and food court, and the clubhouse. Your legs are younger than mine and you should be fine.

Take a bicycle, riding through the park if well worth it. It is about a mile from end to end along the beach drive.

Hey Chris, the golf carts are not needed as everything we do in in the same area of the campground. I mentioned that because riding around in a golf cart is a big thing there. In the summer the beach road along the dunes is nothing but hundreds of all sorts of carts from about 7 till 11 PM. Most being teenagers. I will agree its fun to ride around and see all the different campers and motorhomes. Like John said riding a bike is great, no hills being at the beach.

Since we are on the subject you can bring your own cart however there is a registrations fee of about 25 or 30 dollars. Electric carts only. No gasoline powered carts or motorcycles allowed in the campground.

We still have sites left so call and make your reservations 877-510-1413 and mention Birds At the Beach.

See ya'll there.

How about battery powered scooters and bicycles?

Battery power bikes and scooters are fine. Don't have to register those just golf carts. .
