Default Range Rover Borrego Toad

I finally got my '02 Range Rover Borrego set up as a TOAD and took it out last week on a 600 mile trip. The Borrego is a special edition that they built 100 of only for US market (less than 1 per dealer). You either love it or hate it. I have a love/hate relationship with it . It has lots of things in common with the 'Bird such as air suspension, quirky faults, and plenty of oil underneath. I built a dedicated light bar out of a harbor freight receiver step, wired independent of the Rover's electrics. The Rover has active hydraulic brake booster, so I either had to pump the brakes 45 times before each tow with key off to release boost, or find a brake system that works with active brakes. I found that the RVIBrake2 can be switched to active brake mode for systems that maintain power boost while being towed, so I installed the breakaway, a dedicated electric power line, and a charging system to allow the Bird to charge the Rover's battery during tow. I use an AGM type 31 marine battery in the Rover with both posts and studs, so accessory hook-up is easy. Mounted Roadmaster brackets and a used Roadmaster Sterling tow bar. Hookup is easier than expected and it tows nice. Several issues with the Bird on the trip, but I'll address them in separate posts. I tried editing the photos about 5 times and they still load rotated, so they are what they are

I've been afflicted with the Rover virus before, so I understand. Drove a RR in the dunes while in Saudi for years. You've done a good job with yours.
