I just get a little worried when I see business sites using Comic Sans font...

I don't understand why the internet hate Comic Sans, but then I am still running Windows 95.

For a chuckle...
What's so wrong with Comic Sans?

Realize the different type of oil pressure senders. Mechanical and electrical
Best to only consider an electrical resistance sender for oil pressure. I would source the powertec docs to learn if thaere was an option for an oil gauge and if, how was that engineered. If the same power tec had a option, the sender may already be in the block ?

Yes, I am going with the electrical version of some type of gauge. I would like to find a gauge that matches the original ones, however I don’t see that happening with new units so far. Does anyone have gauges laying around from a 95 vintage? If I can’t find a match I might go with these. I like the 270 sweep with digital readout, colors look good, but at 80 bucks each I’ll be hurting since all the gauges will have to match.

I would like to add cockpit oil pressure and water temp gauges at a minimum. In addition Voltage and frequency of each leg if possible. Are there any that I’m missing? Has anyone done this? I’m sure I can figure it out, but why reinvent the wheel when I can just tweak it a little.
Has anyone tried to use something along This line instead of a cluster of individual gauges?
I thought of your question when I came across a gen monitor here. You'll have to do the heavy spec reading, I just skimmed.

https://www.flightsystems.com/genpulse/

Flight Systems is the very reputable go-to when someone needs a new circuit board for Onan and many other brands. This monitor looks like the primary function is mission-critical gen output monitoring, but it is designed to also host bells and whistles, like engine monitor funcs. Looks like $800-1000 range.

I wonder how the wifi is in the generator bay?

Interesting, but that is much farther than I’m willing to go. I would put that more into a commercial application.
