We saw this rig in S. Florida last fall. The couple said they had been on the road for something like 70 days, staying in the rooftop camper. I'd break my neck climbing up and down to pee in the middle of the night. Heck, I'd probably fall even in the daytime.

Rooftops are becoming wildly popular and cheaper as well. There's a cool bunch of overlanding nuts and gear reviews at expedition portal.

No 'Bird yet but currently searching for one to make our own. Goal is to have a unit by the spring so that we can remodel and begin the transition to living aboard full time. Thank you all!

You could get a very nice BB, for what one of them costs!!!
They run from the hi $60k to $80k!!!

I have a 1984 Idle Time overhead truck camper I'll take a little less for! Still goes camping!
