Gene, wind was real dangerous on 15, especially coming out of the underpasses! You had to anticipate and steer right or it would push you to fast llane! Twice the 18 wheelers almost took out a car on the fast lane. Don’t stay behind them!

Tomorrow’s forecast is 15 MPH wind.

Safe travels

I think you have hydronic heat pretty much everywhere, right? So if you run the aquahot it will keep everything thawed? Still want to run the block heater for a few hours before starting it up when it's that cold though. If you run the gen all night just turn everything on before you go to bed.

I moved from Idaho Falls 180 miles south this morning and sitting in an RV park plugged in to 50 amp and both Primus are on (one wasn’t working since I got the coach and now all of a sudden works)! I also have the hydronic system that heats the water while driving ! There is also electric heaters somewhere because I have two small thermostat but I’m not sure where the heat is coming out of for those!!!

I emptied the black and gray when I left Coeur D’Alene yesterday morning and have not
Used the services except for number 1 which should help as it contains salt!
Fresh water is under the bad and all the other plumbing is inside, and I would estimate about 10 gallon left in there as I didn’t fill when I left.

I have a water heater next to the fresh tank under the bed! I am not sure if it help if I turn that on since there is hardly any water in the tank. I can always fill it since I can hook up anytime!

The weather report for highway 80 has been all over the place. Yesterday morning said -12 at Laramie on Friday night. Last night it says 9. Now it’s 3 degrees.

My plan is to leave here Friday and hopefully by the time I get to Eastern Wyoming it will be in double digits. In the meantime I’m going out for a bottle of Elijah Craig small batch bourbon!

We were plaaning on heading to Mexico in our Dynasty on zTuesday
But supposed to get 5 inches of snow by Ftiday
Then winds that can hit 50mph
And up to 10 inches of snow/rain. Temps will be below freezing at night and just above in the day. Not fun.

I am trying to wrap up my engine swap project and get the coach out of New Hampshire by the end of the month to avoid this scenario

I have fought - conditions for the past 9 years and I do hope you were joking when you mentioned Booze , plenty of time for that at the rally . Now is not the time to dull your senses you are at war with the elements . Drive when it is safe , keep the bus running and make hay when the sun is shinning. There is no reason to drive when it is not safe . You can leave a bus running for days without shutting her down .
Good luck and look forward to your camp fire stories at the rally .

These are my thoughts be safe and remember you are not driving a Tank ! Even though she weighs as much , lol
