That could have been me, but I think my antifreeze mixture was not quite right. I have 190 thermostats in and the fan kicks on around 195. I don't run it much hotter than that.

They recored my current radiator and used the top and bottom tanks again.

On the retarder, I never use the spike valve... always operate it with the service brakes. Never had any trouble coming down the Raton. Retarder is also good for in town operation so I leave it on while driving in traffic.
