Default Fireball!

No! Not the whiskey that got me thru 3 back surgeries.! The Amazon fix for Propane refrigerators. We have joined the homeless Wanderlodge, homeless that rely on Propane for our coach.. Since we sold our home of 40 years I now look at the continuous Propane usage. A simple fire suppression system is available thru Amazon that will make me sleep better. I have always liked explosions so what is not to like about the Exploding Fireball that can mount in the refrigerator chimney and unload a bunch of fire suppression **** that will save our beloved bus! I am going to be ashes soon enough so $40.00 bucks is a GREAT deal! I was never good at Basketball but this slam dunk is ano brainer!:

If you haven't bought them yet, look at the Elide fire balls. These are the $80 originals and the AFO is a cheap Chinese knockoff. Bad reviews on them.
The Elide is what we have in our engine compartment, hall closet and in our Hummer.

I have the Elide fire balls (2x engine bay, 1x generator bay) as well. The only problem that I've had so far is a broken mounting bracket. The brackets are just some thick wire.

Real fix for propane refrigerator is replace as shown in pics below

However while others can, I can’t recommend Samsung RF18 due to my early model ice-ups of refer coil. If you want one for FREE, I’ll be replacing mine (with either a GE or FP) in Nov or Dec. Sorry heat gun and mini wet-dry vac not included .

Congrats on the sale (finally) of your beautiful house!

The heat from the engines does it get close to the the temp that makes these fire ball go off?

Nope, takes an open flame to pop them.
Quote:
Only contact with a direct naked flame of up to 3 – 5 sec will activate the Elide Fire Suppression Ball® . When the ball activates, the burst possesses no concussive shock or any ballistic hazard. Please see our health and safety page on our website for more information.

Here is the information on them.

John, have you done this yet? Interested in your thoughts after you have them, maybe you could start a fire and test....
