First come first serve, as in the past, or reservations? If reservations, then who will they be given to? Will you still be able to get in 24 hours a day or will there be in and out hours? Who collects the money? Will the guard in the shack be responsible for collection? Will Rita bring lunch and sweet tea? Now what about buying back a lot on Hilton Head?

Perhaps the best course of action would be for the individuals that have been asked to be directors to interact with each other and share the ideas we have received. We cannot make everyone happy in this venture, in my opinion. And it would be hard to answer everyones questions until a plan has been formatted.

Randy - this was posted on Ernie's list (by Ernie), and some posted back that he wondered why not all groups were included? He says WOO is not included, whatever that is?

Here's part of the email:

Just out of curiosity, why do you exclude one particular Wanderlodge
>owners forum from your list of "one person from each group"? It seems to
>me that if you really wanted to work on a project for all Wanderlodge
>owners, you should include all. I would think that, with the demise of the
>factory, every effort should be made to keep all Wanderlodge owners
>together, not exclude some and "invite" others.
>
>That being said, I personally have to ask myself; "who would want to go
>anywhere near Fort Valley, GA without the Wanderlodge factory being
>there?" This area is about as exciting as watching paint dry. Don't take
>this wrong as I have used the Birds Nest on several occasions over 20
>years of Wanderlodge ownership. It is a nice place to overnight and visit
>with other Bird owners. However, every time it was for a day or so to have
>work done at the factory. There is, IMO, no other reason to go there. As
>far as meeting up with other Wanderlodge owners, that is what rallies are
>for. These events range from simple gatherings of a few owners to large
>events such as just held in Tennessee. Great fun and they can be held
>anywhere and don't need the defunct Birds Nest. Just my opinion, I'm sure
>others will vary.

Ernie is so right, the directors have not gotten together at all.
I did ask them all to be a part, and they all agreed to help.

Well, to clear this up, the original message was posted by Randy. He asked me to post it on my forum, and I did. Rich must have thought that there was a group left out. That was not the case as WOO, from what I have been told is the new Family of Friends forum. Since it is a pay for play site- long ago discussion, I have chosen not to go there.

Rita brought lunch up, come on Randy, Di and I do this for a living, you know we are going to learn who the players are! Any way, will the new guy work on old Wanderlodges?

Markus.
The word I have is that WOO was donated to the Family of Friends for them to as they wished with it.
We named a member of the Family of Friends to be on the board.
Also,we do have rallys for getting together,I have never Known WOO to hold or support a rally.

The new owner of the factory is going to open a full service shop to maintain birds and other high end coachs.
So,theres a reason for Rich to go to Ft Valley!!

The nest is not for everyone,we all know that.
