Serial numbers seem to be increasing with engine build dates except for Chuck's and/or Doc&Linda's. Chuck and Doc&Linda can you verify your numbers?

Just to remind everyone; The Coach/Body Build Date can be found on the weight plate above the windshield on the right (pasenger's) side on the back of the TV cabinet. The Engine Build Date can be found on a plate located on the right (curb) side of the engine block just above the batteries. The Engine Serial Number & the Body Number can be found at the upper left (driver's) corner in the engine compartment. The easiest way to check your head gasket to determine if or if not it is protruding from the rear of the engine is to lean over the batteries and run your hand behind and around the engine lifting bracket and feel the edge of the gasket with your fingers. If your hand is small enough, you can run you hand between the lifting bracket and the cylinder head. Last edited by cmillsap; 05-21-2012 at 01:19 AM. |
