Default 1984-1/2- as close to perfect as they get

I've personally inspected this one and "it's the real deal". He's meticulously maintained it over the years, but is getting to the age where it's a little too much to service and use regularly. The coach is from Oklahoma (dry, no salt, rust) and there's a full service history. You can email the owner, Bob Dilks to arrange an inspection at bjmd@netcommander.com

Photos, etc.. are attached below-

I have also been in this coach, many times. Bob has really taken care of her.

Is it safe to assume no outstanding issues and perhaps only the 8yo tires need to be replaced?

Anyone want to clue me in on how this rig might me different than say an fc35 of the same year? Is it mostly the engine and drive train?

Rick
I'll start or by admitting that I'm biased, we have a 82 PT.
PT's are quieter--FC's you can hear any strange engine noises--could come in handy
PT's have larger storage bays
PT's are more stable with tag axles--FC's only have 6 tires WILL save you $$$

I like the front door vs the side door, don't need to maneuver around the engine hump
I like the generator up front vs the side only because it often gets damaged ,it hangs low
FC's get better fuel milage
FC's have the EVER popular 3208 Cat easy to find parts/mechanics
PT's normally have 6V92 theyare 2 stroke motors sometimes difficult to find mechanics

Nice looking Bird!

Update: I just noticed Bob Dilks name attached to it. Bob has been around sharing ownership information and suggestions long before there were Wanderlodge groups on the web. If anyone can pass it along, I hate so see him getting out of the bird ownership and I hope he stays in touch......
