Default Show and Tell / Landing at Croton Point Park

Well we have landed at Croton point park in Croton on Hudson NY, to visit Barbara's mom in NJ...

Well the Florida home has been sold as of yesterday at 1PM...

We are now full timing in the bus, headed to Oshkosh, UP, MI points south to wind up in WOG and then on to Yuma Foothills, for the winter at our RV lot...

While roaming the CG, here is what I found; Don't know what it is as the owners are not around, coach is tagged in Calif...

Well there you are, let me know if you know what this is, as curious minds like to know!!!

It does not have a tag axle, it is an 8 wheel rear axle like on tractor horses!!!
I'm sure 8 tires are enough to pay for on Bluebirds, some of us only have 6, this one has 10!!!

Its a narrow body...

Ramp on the back with spare tire...

Congratulations on the house sale! One of those "whew" moments. Maybe that bus has a King size waterbed in it.
That gives me an idea,, pull the water tank out and....

Looks like a mower shed with some wheels under it.

Looks like a high-end horse transporter a little past its prime. Note the brackets on the side of the ramp to place rails when ramp is down. Also note how tall the side door is. And it has a version of a "goat rack" up top to tie down extra hay. Weight of the horses would explain eight wheels in back. Anyway, that's my guess.

Steve,
Now that sounds logical, good guess... I Hope the owner shows up before we leave for Oshkosh, this way I can ask, what it is or was!!!

Larry--Have fun. That's a beautiful part of the country. I spent 4 "fun filled" years just across the river and a bit north at West Point. It would be an interesting side trip if you've never been there.
