I fixed the burnt hdlp wire. I pulled out the ign switch panel and have 12v on bat term, and 12v on ign term when key is turned. Going to try and find the starter solenoid relay now.

I believe I found the starter solenoid relay it doesn’t seem to function. I’ll investigate it more. Is there anything between the ignition switch and it other than wiring?

I don't think the starter will receive power until the transmission system does .
Sometimes ours would not start . I learned that if i turned on the ignition switch and didn't hear clicking under the drivers window , it wouldn't start . Sometimes i had to turn the ignition on and off a few times to activate the relays probably .

I checked the wiring going into the box under the shift connector which I believe is the ecu. It has power on the wires indicated and the grounds sound out. Are you guys saying that if the Allison computer has died that the bus engine will not start?

After developing a no start problem along with the Allison coming out of gear, I was hoping for a ignition problem not providing the 12v to the Allison. I went through the battery wiring, cleaning everything up including grounds and replacing circuit breakers to no avail. That started pointing more toward the Allison ECU. I found this site http://www.transmissioninstruments.com
and this.....Have You seen code 69-32 already?...yup.....Stop troubleshooting = 100% defective ECU!!!
After talking with them they said the 12v goes thru the ECU and the power supply is probably bad. Turn around was really quick. It even came with installation instructions. She started right up and went into gear. It's been intermittent so I need to get her out on the road, but with no codes I think it's fixed.

Kip's post.
