Default Bird Poop

We winter in a park having hedges alongside the bus. The birds, wonderful as they are, have taken to sitting on the rear goat-rail and exhaust stack for a better view while they do their daily constitutional. What they deposit comes off like epoxy. ...,getting tired of this.

Ever looking for a better way, I bought one of those plastic owls at Lowes, mounted it on a pail, and placed it on the rear roof, moving it every two days so as to fool those dumb little critters, as per the instructions.

The first day I found big white spats around it. Hmm, some lovelorn owl needing some solace? Later the neighbors across the drive told me they saw a large bird circle the owl, then take off, dropping the bombs. Cute. Really cute.

Today the neighbors sent me a picture of the reason all the poops have not been completely stopped. Some birds are either really stupid, or really smart. The rest of them stay away. See picture below.

Maybe 10,000 volts?

I moved it today AFTER CLEANING OFF THE BIRD POOP ON ITS HEAD. The visitor has a sense of humor!

Anybody want an owl? Experiment gone bad.
