I've thought about one in Loudonville, Ohio, at mochican adventures. It's home of the flxible buses, they have a large rally every other year. Not sure on timing, personally we camp there every year when street fair is happening, first week of October.
Couple canoe livery places, and right next to mohican state park.

Ohhhhhhh…..we like to look at the Flexibles!! First time we went to Quartzsite, we saw a small group, camped there. We were intrigued!!

So count us in…..if timing is good for us!!

Flexible buses had several rallies at the Great Outdoors Florida several years ago. We missed their 100 year celebration 2024. https://flxibleowners.org/2024-rally/

Ohio may be a good choice for a location , centrally located to numerous Wanderlodges.

Hey you future rally hosts,we can give you help and advice, everybody will jump in and get it rolling, its not hard (even i can do it).
All we need is the chance to have a good time and a flat place to park.
Parking lots,fair grounds,rv parks,its all good.
Race tracks are another option,i know i have stayed at more than a few race tracks!

But if we need more rallies - there is one in Onaway, MI at the end of May.

There should be more rallies in the midwest. Early June is Shippy. What other interesting events are there up here that might be interesting for a rally? Have to think about that. There are some thersherees up here that are pretty great, but tend to be fall.

Credit to Scott Hecker for finding the Onaway MI event. So far it looks like 4 of us are attending, Scott, Andy, Zac, Myself. Zac is my friend, has a SOB (2020 Tiffin Allegro). Memorial Day Weekend. I texted the organizer and explained our plans, they said whoever gets there first, tell the gate folks others are joining you (how many slots), and they'll stack us one next to the other. I imagine they'll put cones up or whatever.

I was chatting with another new owner who tipped me off to a nice CG upstate. The UAW CG at Black Lake. It's open to anyone, discount if you're UAW. Oddly enough, it's just north of Onaway. I asked him to let me know when he's going, I'd (try to) join. AND TO POST ABOUT IT HERE .

I think the fear with new rallies is nobody will show up. Last year I thought if I was the only one there atleast I got the bus out to an amazing area and I would be able to relax. When I heard Bad Andy's monster rolling in I knew I atleast had one neighbor! They kept coming after that! We had Kevin from New Mexico, Carol and her hubby from Texas, Van from Arizona, 4 Birds from Colorado, and A "SOB" (Some Other Brand" from the land of the unknown!

I learned a few things last year. I moved the rally up 3 weeks so the weather is not so cool, planned some events, and organized some comforts like additional water etc because we are a boondock rally. Rally poop tanks this year are on the agends so people can dump their black water tank without having to move their Birds. A trailer and UTV will get those to the dump station.

We had a smaller group but had so much fun! A lot of laughs and knowledge in those circles under the carnival tent. Hoping to see more this year! Plenty of room.around the camp fire and a few boats to the resevoir this year!
