Default Foot rest --buddy seat

Ever since I have owned the coach, the electric operated foot rest on the passenger seat has not worked. Tonight it made it to the top of the fix-it list. I pulled the seat off of the base and removed the whole motor assembly. Once I separated the motor from the gearbox, I tried the motor and it spun freely. The gearbox, however, was stuck with no movement whatsoever. I drilled out the rivets to get it opened up and I think I figured out why. The grease had turned to glue. See photo.

Its currently soaking in mineral spirits. I'll see if I can get it cleaned up tomorrow and get it put back together. The other problem is that the motor for the lumbar acts the same way and I don't think I can get to that one without removing the upholstery on the back.
