Default Room is not in TRAVEL position

I can't get my slide out to operate, the seal is not inflated as I can see sunlite around it. According to my manual there needs to be 100lbs pressure to operate the room. I have 115+ and still it won't operate? I have not had this problem before, I think that the Square D Pumptrol is leaking air and the contacts are not closed, I can push them closed but the air still leaks. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Terry

Sorry I don't have an answer for your problem Terry but if no one comes up here with a solution I would give Johnny Anderson @ Parliament Coach a call in the morning...bet he could get you going!

Let us know what you find out.

Terry,

If you haven't already tried this. Turn off the DC power to the controller and power it back up. If your slide did not fully retract in the normal time period, it could have confused the PLC and it thinks it is still trying to retract. This could be why the seal is not inflated. Rebooting the PLC, extending the slide, and then retracting it, has solved the issue for me and did on Cliffs coach while on the Alaska trip. Hope this helps.

Didn't think it made anyone look silly? It was bizzare to think a single wheel dipped into a small cow trail could cause a whole M380 to fail safe shut down just about every system therefore becoming "stuck" in a simple field of grass

Seems to me Jim you saved the day a few times that weekend

You might keep this information handy too - On several occasions over the years I have had to reset the computer that controls the front slide - this when the slide would not retract. Turn the slide key off. Turn the ignition key off. Press and hold F1 and F4 (on the slide operating unit), hold for a few moments then release. Turn the keys on and the slide should work.
