Default Lots of modification here:)

I have not been to this site for along time and was in need of help today and thanks to all the people here I got the location of my electrical horn issue. But I thought I might just show some new folks what I have done with my old 78 and its special feature a rear door. So here a short presentation. Thanks for the help!

Jon:

Really looks good, very cozy looking. Is that a heater standing to the right rear of the driver seat? and if so, what kind is it.

Beautiful coach - great job.

Nope just was marching time till my wife got better from a lower back problem she had. We kind of keep the old motor home around just in case of emergency happens. We were trying to sell it but hey the market went south as we all know and I was not ready to give away the farm. I really like my old motor home and its just fun to take to car shows and let people tour thru the bus and see what a real vintage motor home looks like. My wife was wheelchair bound three years ago but now we walk two to three miles a day!!!!!She put her faith in the lord and the lord paid that oft in great dividends as she is in better shape now than she was befor her accident. Here is a picture of her taken this past winter and we are about to take our first hike of the day! http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y4/...G_0242-001.jpg

That is a very rare 1942 Dodge Blackout model and I have never seen another one but for old pictures. I have had that car for probably 25 years. What makes it special is that the trim was painted on purpose because after the war broke out the goverment still allowed the general public to buy cars. But they also told the manufactures that they could not not use precious metals for trim material and so all the trim pieces were painted. They only only manufactured these cars for about two months and then stopped production and went into full time war productions. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y4/...ndmother-1.jpg
